Our basic aims in religious education are to help the children acquire knowledge and understanding of the Christian religion, understand the structure of the Bible and be familiar with the stories and people within it. Children will also gain knowledge other world religions and become familiar with the different ways of communicating, interpreting and celebrating religions.
We try to promote our pupil's search for a system of values by appreciating the contribution religious and spiritual ideas play. We also try to promote an understanding of other people and their beliefs and encourage pupils to adopt a caring and considerate lifestyle.
