Hi Ben Churchyard (and Tommy). Of course I remember you! I never forget a Spurs supporter. I was SO pleased that Spurs beat Chelsea to win the Carling Cup. I hope you've wound Mr Barton up about it - if not, get onto it immediately!

I am really busy with lots of private pupils, including some from Birchwood Grove. I teach them Maths and English and have kids from 7 years old up to 15. I now have 4 grandchildren and do a lot of baby sitting! I spend a lot of time treasure hunting and was pleased to see BG join my West Sussex Schools Metal Detecting Project.

my amazing achivments at birchwood grove have been bettered at oakmeeds were due to some brilliant teamwork, myself, Morbers and davo won the interschool General knowledge quiz where we racked up an amazing 123 points due in the main to morbers and my quick thinking. none of my amazing achivements would of been possible with out you, Mr Barton thanks very much

I just want to say well done to the rest of the year 5 for a great performance of the lion the witch and the wardrobe! I enjoyed it so much! It feels strange not doing it any more. I know this for certain that the year 4s will LOVE it. It's a huge lots of fun to do from Day 1 til the final performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's been almost 5 whole years since we were at birchwood grove, we really really really miss going to birchwood grove, at the time Lori couldn't wait to get out of there, but now she wants to be there painting instead of doing maths and french homework. we are all getting on really well at oakmeeds, it isn't a very nice school but hey we will get through it, i mean we have already been here for 5 years! we all want to say hi to the teachers who were teaching there when we used to go there, even if they are not there anymore, so hello to... mrs. Davies, mrs. Hobden, mrs. Rushby, mrs. Elliott, mrs. tammy something, mrs. sunshine or something, mrs. brown, ms. trevellian, mrs. Well what can i say? I was at birchwood grove in reception nearly 10 years ago! Thats a heck of a long time. I'm now in my final year at Oakmeeds studying for my GCSE's next year: History, Art and Food Technology. I've loved every minute of my education at both Brichwood Grove (thats the best primary school everrrrrrr!) and at Oakmeeds. I don't know whether any of my old teachers are still there; Mrs.Brown, Mr.Still, Ms.Trevellion, Mrs.Hundolf and Mr Barton? If you are and you remember me HI! Just wanted to let you guys know that im a very good girl and i dont think have changed much since year 6! However i am in touch with a few of the old year 6's as i am head of year 7! I narrowly missed being head girl which was really gutting, but in a way im kind of glad because i've got enough on my plate already. This is just to let you know I'm enjoying my retirement, but am missing everyone a lot! Just looking back at old times I am now 31 and seemed like yesterday I went when Mr Morgans was head. Hi its me again just writing to tell you I went to the football and netball match against London Meed. It was really weird seeing Mr Holmes cheering for London Meed now instead of B. Grove, I will see ya on friday and welll done to the girls and boys who played today at London Meed.

Hi its Lucy just writing to tell you how great oakmeeds is but its nothing like Birchwood Grove. I played in a netballl tournament for Oakmeeds last week and we came 3rd. I played goal attack and it was really weird being against Abbie and Cathryn instead of on a team with them. I would like to say hi to all the teachers and to all my year 6 mates but I come up every friday if you want a good old chat. Its great seeing all my older fiends now.

Hi, I've just finished year 7 at Oakmeeds and have had a great year there. It's a shame that only 9 people are joining Oakmeeds in September.

Nice to visit this site again and read all the messages from everyone. Hello to all the former pupils who have sent messages in. I remember most of you and it is nice to know that your memories of BG are so good. Have just come back from another trip to Maison de la Varrenne in France. Everyone had a brilliant time, as usual. A big thank you to all the year 6 children for being such perfect little angels whilst away! How many of you remember going to France with the school? How about sharing your memories with everyone. i think that Birchwood Grove is a good school i left in 1962 when the bear was few and far between and the playstations were made out of wood. Im hoping that the old school wooden jungle gym was still there and kids kept falling off and killing themselves! Ah those were the days!!!
